Jolly Holly Days

This year for Christmas Ben and I went to Cartersville, GA to spend it with his family. Fortunately I had some extra vacation days to use up before 2011 so we got spend a whole week there. We had a wonderful time. We even got to experience a white Christmas. Here are a couple photos...

Once the weather decided to cooperate, Ben's grandparents, Mimi and Grandaddy, came down from North Carolina to visit with us a few days as well. The big gift this year was a pool table. After our time in Georgia, we went to Nashville for a few days to visit some friends. We have great friends there and do not get the chance to see them enough. Ben's sister, Megan, came as well. We went to a New Year's Eve party with an 80's cover band and danced until Megan and I couldn't bear to stand in our heels for a minute longer. Ben and Blake then went to hail us a cab. Let's just say that hailing the cab and the drive home were an event within themselves, but since neither experience was very pleasant for the parties involved, we won't relive it here. Thankfully we made it home with the majority of us still dry... special thanks to Blake who endured the most of the brutal weather and dealt with the shady cab driver!

We wish everyone a happy and healthy New Year! Best Wishes for 2011 from the Bevill's!! Now off to take down the tree and other decorations... My dad would be very disappointed with me that our tree and decorations are still up after January 1st!
